RIKILT is a Dutch independent institute conducting research in the food chain. Research is focused on the a multidisciplinary approach. RIKILT conducts fundamental-strategic and applied research for national and international governments and industries, and supports the policy of the Dutch government with research and advice. RIKILT has expertise in the quality and supply chain management needed to improve production processes and product quality in the agro-industry. Members of RIKILT staff are members of (inter) national expert committees regarding food safety. (Henk Aarts)
