A Special Issue on BIOTRACER was publsihed in the International Journal of Food Microbiology recently.
The scientific journal International Journal of Food Microbiology spotlights the results from BIOTRACER with 23 articles written by project researchers. The special issue is organized into four food chains (feed, poultry, dairy and pork) and includes a section on bio-terrorism and food safety. Each section is introduced by a 'short communication' that addresses the challenges in that area. The manuscripts focus on the outputs from the research: advances in modeling and detection technologies, expanded physiological information, and incorporation of molecular data into modeling to support biotracing.
The special issue is Volume 145, Supplement 1, 1 March 2011, and is available to subscribers at www.sciencedirect.com.
