CNIEL is the French Dairy Council, in charge of policies (price, regulatory, promotion, advertising and food safety) for the dairy industry, at producers' and processors' levels. CNIEL and its research subsidiary Arilait Recherches have a strong and long experience in project management in fields microbiology and safety of milk and dairy products. Its expertise extends from documentation, survey, R&D projects coordination to transfer and communication. CNIEL and Arilait have also tight working relationships with research and technical institutes. CNIEL is also a unique interface between actors of dairy research and the industrial operators.
